FIFA 21 Release Date
EA has confirmed FIFA 21 will launch on current-gen consoles on Friday, 9 October 2020.
If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition you’ll be able to play from Tuesday, 6 October.
But with EA Play, you’ll be able to have 10-hours of early access to FIFA 21 starting 1 October!
So if you want to get early access to FIFA 21, you’ll want to check out EA Play. It’s a subscription service that allows you to play all of your favourite EA titles.
One of the major perks of the subscription is that you early access to titles like FIFA 21, with members able to play the game before the official release date.
EA Play players will be able to download FIFA 21 a whole week before it is released, but there’s a catch.

You’ll be limited to ten hours of gaming time only, but when that starts as early as 1 October, we’ll certainly take it!
PS4 players will be able to sign up to EA Play for the first time this July too!
How much does it cost?
You can either pay yearly, or monthly for an EA Play membership. Full prices for both Xbox and PS4 are listed on their site, here.
FIFA 21 pre-orders are now open, and there are three main editions for players to get their hands on.

Champions & Ultimate Editions
When you download or pre-order either the Champions or Ultimate Edition of FIFA 21 you will get access to the game three days earlier than the official release date.
This means that by pre-ordering these editions, you can have your hands on the game on October 6 2020.
Along with early access, these editions arrive with the
usual added bonuses of free Ultimate Team packs too!
Official Reveal Trailer
The Official Reveal Trailer has arrived, and it’s quite exciting.
You can watch the trailer here:
It may not be full of gameplay footage, but the bits we’ve gotten are enough to tide us over.
At least thanks to the replay button.
New Career Mode Features
We got a reveal for some new features coming to FIFA 21’s Career Mode that are equally exciting.
These include loan to buy offers, and a new positional change growth system that will allow players to really change the way they attack the pitch.
New Gameplay Features
Along with the Career Mode reveals, we also got some new gameplay features as well.
These include positional awareness scaling with class of player (meaning world class forwards will better pace their runs, defenders will better close space etc.), new dribbling footwork, and better off-ball control.
All of these features should add plenty of depth to FIFA 21’s gameplay, which is a welcome change.
