NBA 2K21 is only a few days away!

Let’s go over the different editions and what they offer.

Latest News – MyCAREER and Neighborhood features revealed

The latest NBA 2K21 trailer was a big one, revealing new features for MyCAREER and The Neighborhood.

These features include NCAA college basketball and new cameos in MyCAREER, and a new setting with 2K Beach in The Neighborhood.

Standard Edition

NBA 2K games traditionally feature three editions. This year there is only two.

The Standard Edition, fronted by Damian Lillard on current-generation platforms, will cost £59.99 (prices may vary depending on retailer).

DAME: Lillard gets the cover spot for PS4 & Xbox One

2K has also confirmed that Xbox players who buy the Standard Edition on Xbox One will be able to play on Xbox Series X via backwards compatibility.

The same functionality has not been confirmed for PS4 players.

Mamba Forever Edition

The second edition is the Mamba Forever Edition.

This Kobe Bryant tribute edition replaces the Legend Edition for NBA 2K21.

TWO FOR ONE: The left cover is for current-gen, the right for next-gen

Coming in at £84.99 the Mamba Forever Edition isn’t cheap.

However, it also comes with Dual Access, meaning you won’t have to buy the game again on next-gen. If you buy the game for the first time on next-gen, it will also be playable on the current-gen!

Next-gen Standard Edition

If you want to wait until the PS5 and Xbox Series X arrive then you can.

The next-gen Standard Edition will have Zion Williamson on the cover, but costs a little more.

THE FUTURE: Zion is the future of the NBA

At £64.99, 2K has perhaps made the first announcement in the price jump gamers could see when next-gen finally arrives.

NBA 2K21 have done it again with an awesome new current-gen gameplay trailer to rally fans into a frenzy!

NBA 2K21 Demo

While we haven’t gotten early access tied to the editions for NBA 2K21, we will be receiving an NBA 2K21 demo!

The demo was officially announced via the most recent Courtside Report, which revealed you can hop on the NBA 2K21 court as early as 24 August in the demo.
