Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event is only a couple of weeks away and fortunately, we don’t have to wait any longer in order to find out what will be the highlight specs of the next-generation Galaxy Fold 2. First of all, Galaxy Fold 2 will be branded as Galaxy Z Flip and it is expected to have the same success as Galaxy Fold did in 2019. Nonetheless, we got lucky and Galaxy Z Flip’s processor, display size and primary camera have been leaked ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event.
Innovative Design
Right from the start, we want to highlight that the reason why Galaxy Z Flip is not being branded as Galaxy Fold 2 is because it will ship with an innovative design. According to multiple insider leaks, Galaxy Z Flip will feature two hinges and it will fold three times. The new design is Samsung’s solution for the faulty Galaxy Fold mechanism that broke only after 24 hours of use.
Leaked Hardware Specs
As previously mentioned, some of Galaxy Z Flip’s highlight specs have been leaked on the web. With that being said, Galaxy Z Flip will be powered by none other than Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC. This is one of the most powerful mobile processors available on the market and it confirms to us that Galaxy Z Flip will be able to handle heavy-duty tasks such as mobile gaming without any problems.
The leak also revealed that Galaxy Z Flip will ship with an 8-inch display. Since this is Samsung that we are talking about, then the display is more than likely going to use Dynamic AMOLED technology that delivers outstanding image quality. The last piece of information that the leak reveal is the primary camera of Galaxy Z Flip and it’s quite impressive! According to the leak, the foldable smartphone will ship with a primary shooter of 108MP.
