New iPhones to Come with an Always-on Display?

A brand new leak has taken everyone by surprise, and trust us, and we did not expect that.

The iPhone coming out in 2021 may have a display that’s similar to the one found on Apple Watch. Android phones have had that for a very long time. The phones will also come with better batteries, a small notch on the screen, and better video recording. There’s also talks about a faster A15 chip and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The internet is full of leaks that suggest that Apple is currently working on an always-on screen for their iPhones. Famous Max Weinbach stated that Apple might use the same kind of LTPO – low-temperature polycrystalline oxide – panels as the ones on the Apple Watch.

In order to save battery power, Apple Watch keeps the display off when the user is not looking at the dial. But Series 5 and 6 come with an always-on display. This feature also appears on the Samsung Galaxy devices – you can see the clock and the calendar, even if the device is in sleep mode. But with the Always On feature, the device takes advantage of the ultra-power saving mode.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is also one who said that the Pro iPhones that will be released this year would come with LTPO displays and 120Hz refresh rates. Bloomberg also predicted that at least one of the new iPhones would come with an LTPO display. The company has adjusted the screen refresh rates of the Watches in order to make the battery last longer.

It has also been said that Apple will announce its new MacBook Pros in November.
